The King William County Finance Board (CFB) consists of the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, the King William County Treasurer, and a King William County citizen of proven integrity and business ability. The CFB acts as an advisory board to the Treasurer and ensures County funds are being invested appropriately with due knowledge of the CFB. The Treasurer is to provide a monthly report of the amounts deposited to the CFB. This Board was established by Resolution 20-49 by the Board of Supervisors in August of 2020 in accordance with Section 58.1-3151 of the Code of Virginia.
MEETINGS
Meetings are called as needed.
The King William County Treasurer is to provide a report to the CFB at the end of each month.
MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
The citizen member is appointed by the King William County Circuit Court.
The term of the citizen member shall be four years, but the King William County Circuit Court may remove for cause any such citizen member and appoint some other qualified citizen of the County in their stead for the unexpired portion of their term.
