Lost & Found Pets
At the Regional Animal Shelter, we understand how stressful it can be to lose a pet or find one without an owner. Our goal is to help reunite lost pets with their families and ensure every found animal is safely returned to its rightful home. If you've lost a pet or found one, please use the forms below to report the situation to us. By providing detailed information, you'll help us assist in the search and bring your pet home as quickly as possible.
Lost a Pet?

The more details we have, the better we can assist in locating your furry friend. Why Report?
The more lost and found pet reports we receive, the better our chances of reuniting pets with their families. Reporting helps spread the word quickly to others in the community, and we can also cross-reference our reports with local shelters, veterinary offices, and animal control agencies. It’s a simple but effective way to help a pet get back home.
Helpful Tips:
- For Lost Pets:
For tips, read over this handout about finding your lost pet. https://kwc.gov/DocumentCenter/View/3281/Tips-To-Find-A-Lost-Pet
In addition to submitting a report, be sure to check local shelters, vet offices, and lost pet groups online. Posting on social media and sharing your pet’s description can help expand your search.
- For Found Pets:
If the pet is friendly, keep it in a safe, secure area until help arrives. If possible, have the pet scanned for a microchip at a local vet or shelter. Microchips are often the quickest way to identify an owner.
