Economic Development Authority

The function of the Economic Development Authority is to promote the orderly economic growth of King William without detriment to the County’s natural environment and in a manner consistent with the direction provided by the Board of Supervisors in the County’s Land Use Plan and Ordinance.

Meetings

• 2nd Wednesday of every other month at 6:30pm
• Held in the County Administration Building Board Room - 180 Horse Landing Road, King William, VA 23086, and via Zoom.

Member Requirements

• Seven members - appointed by the King William County Board of Supervisors.
• Cannot be an officer or employee of King William County.
• Required to take oath of office before assuming position and with subsequent reappointments.
• Must file appropriate Conflict of Interest form with the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors upon appointment and annually thereafter.
• Four-year staggered terms.
