Arts Alive Board of Directors is devoted to promoting and stimulating an awareness and love of the arts by instituting, funding, supporting, and administering arts programs for all ages.

Bay Aging Board provides programs and services people of all ages need to live independently in their communities. Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to five-year terms with a two-term maximum.

Rappahannock Community College Local College Board makes recommendations regarding state and local funds budgets and long-range planning and curriculum. Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to four-year terms with a two-term maximum.

Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services Board (CSB) works to provide mental health, developmental disability, and substance use services in the local community. Appointed by the Board of Supervisors to a three-year term with a two-term maximum.

Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission Board promotes the orderly and efficient development of the physical, social, and economic elements of the Planning District by planning, encouraging, and assisting governmental subdivisions to plan for the future. Appointed by the Board of Supervisors to one-year terms or until a successor is appointed.

Middle Peninsula Regional Airport Authority Board of Directors is responsible for the administration of the Middle Peninsula Regional Airport in accordance with the Middle Peninsula Regional Airport Authority Act. Appointed by the Board of Supervisors to a four-year term.

Tri-River Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) Board enhances law enforcement efforts to reduce alcohol and drug-related crashes; works with prosecutors and courts to ensure the efficient processing of those convicted of DUI offenses and referred to VASAP for processing; and works with courts to develop appropriate probation revocation. Member must be someone from the local bar, law enforcement, education, or other interested groups such as a local transportation safety commission.
